I looked down at my feet only to find numerous stains, food trodden into the carpet and ash scattered throughout. There were draws half open with abandoned socks crumpled up and left; the wardrobe door fully open but bare with only a scatter of coat hangers on the rail. My attention was distracted from the sate of the room by the persistent drip of water I herd coming from the bath room. On entry the bath room smelt clean and fresh with citrus smells in the air, the taps where still shining and had there bright silver ping. The floor was wet and wasn’t getting any dryer, a simple toilet blockage was all that was wrong with the room, or at least I thought. I strolled back into the bedroom where the dirty smell hit me again and grabbed a discarded coat hanger and made my way back into the bathroom. I placed one of the crisp white towels down onto the floor so I could kneel and bent the coat hanger into a hook shape and placed the bin bag on my hand so I could unblock the toilet. At first nothing but the feeling of cold water and plastic against my bare skin, then I felt that I had burst something soft. To my amazement what looked like blood started to disperse from the bottom of the toilet, the smell of iron soon filled my nostrils; it was definitely blood. Participants belonged to retirement communities. Data was collected within the period May and November of 2014. The interview has been conducted by mailing the participants a questionnaire. The overall attitude towards aging in my research was positive. Maximum of the participants scored within positive range. The Participants showed very high satisfaction towards life. One of the prime purposes of my research was to find out whether attitude toward aging would make a contribution towards well being. Participants who had a partner reported more positive attitude towards aging as compared to those who were single. Those with good financial status showed more positive attitude towards aging, they also seemed to be more satisfied with life. As compared to retired and unemployed individuals employed individuals showed more positive attitude to aging. Thus we can say that older peoples attitude towards aging has a direct influence on their psychological well being. Earlier researches had shown that beliefs towards aging which are positive lead one to feel young whereas negative beliefs makes one feel older. In a nutshell people who feel old go through lower self esteem, lower satisfaction of life, and high strain at work as compared to those who feel younger. Conclusion This empirical research helps us in understanding individuals towards their own aging and influence of positive attitude to well being. The study also revealed that status of income has direct relation with good health and satisfaction of life. Since our society is aging promoting successful aging has become very important. Those who possess positive attitude towards aging may lead healthier life but it is dependent on several other factors also which we have discussed earlier. These scenes project the pathetic health care situation in America and how people suffer despite they are in a rich country. The pathetic condition of people is the core pathos used by director in the movie. In this movie, the husband of a woman who works for a hospital gets denied for bone marrow transplantation because it not a mandatory surgery. He dies after few w eeks. Here the pathos is used in a great way as the viewers connects with the wife through the interview and gets attached and sympathize for her. Another major example in the movie is where a mother is interviewed on a playground; this is an emotional scene as she had lost her daughter. This scene persuades the people to understand that ethics of health insurance companies are weak and the government is less concerned about this fact. The main aim of the director in making movie is to show the ignorance of public health in America. Michael Moore uses statistical information also to convey the pathetic health care situation in America. â€Å"Fifty million Americans do not have health insurance† (SICKO).
